Dad is not awake at all much any more, the Doctor says it could be any day now. The family all agreed to come home for the fare well party. Some have arrived already; the rest will be here soon. My son is bringing Hope, they should be here tomorrow. I don’t know how she will take all this, it will be her first time to be around death. My son said he explained it to her and she told him, “it will be alright daddy’ he is just going home like I told him to”. The wisdom of a child far exceeds that of an adult at times.
We will give him a good send off, I just wish he could really enjoy the party like he use to…..
